SiliconGate wins prize at IPSOC
LONDON – SiliconGate LDA, a developer of power management intellectual property cores, has been awarded the best paper award at the IPSOC 2011 conference and exhibition.
IPSOC 2011, organized by Design & Reuse SA, took place in Grenoble, France on Dec. 7 and 8.
SiliconGate (Porto, Portugal) brought two of its IP cores to the event and allowed conference participants to monitor performance and change the test setup conditions. The two IPs presented were the SGC67 buck DC/DC converter with a transient response time of less than 0.5-microseconds, and the SCG21510, a 32-kHz crystal oscillator for real-time clock, consuming under 25 nA.
"It was incredibly rewarding to come to IPSOC 2011 and show our IP. For this type of performance you need to see it to believe it. Once we showed it, the positive feedback was immediate." said Floriberto Lima, CEO of SiliconGate, in a statement. "The Best Paper Award was the cherry on top of the cake at the end of two very rewarding conference days."
SiliconGate set up at IPSOC 2011 for monitor and test of IP cores.
